FREE RADICAL CURING RESIN COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND MOLDED PRODUCT COMPRISING THE SAME COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free radical curing resin composition which quickly cures and sufficiently exhibits air curability essentially possessed by a resin composition having dicyclopentenyl groups with slight discoloration. SOLUTION: The free radical curing resin composition is obtained as follows. A reactional product (A) prepared by reacting dicyclopentadiene with maleic acid in a specific ratio is reacted with an epoxy compound (B) having≥2 epoxy groups so as to provide a prescribed ratio of epoxy groups in the epoxy compound (B) based on the carboxy groups contained in the reactional product (A) to afford a terpolymer (C). A polyisocyanate is reacted with the terpolymer (C) so as to provide a prescribed ratio of the isocyanate groups contained in the polyisocyanate based on hydroxy groups contained in the terpolymer (C) to afford a urethane-modified terpolymer (CU).
