PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear view mirror device capable of suppressing generation of the wind noises caused by a fastening member, corrosion of the fastening member, and manufacturable at a lower cost. SOLUTION: The rear view mirror device is equipped with a mirror housing fitted with a mirror, a mirror base installed between the mirror housing the vehicle body, and a shaft member fastened by the fastening member inserted into the mirror base and holding the mirror housing rotatably.
