PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cutoff structure of a dry type joint gasket, by which sealing properties can be displayed sufficiently even when the board thickness of an exterior-wall board is thinned. SOLUTION: In the cutoff structure of the long-sized dry type joint gasket 20 fitted into a joint space M2 between the exterior-wall boards 1 and 1, the end faces of the left and right exterior-wall boards 1 and 1 as the joint space M2 side are notched in a tapered shape expanded towards the rear sides from the surface sides of the exterior-wall boards 1 respectively, and the dry type joint gasket 20 is fitted into the region T of the taper section of the formed joint space M2.
