The branch valve boring armature for a pipeline has a housing with a saddle (1) fitting on the pipe and a branch connecting stub (5). A main valve bore head (7) screws into the housing. A cutting tool (13) drills the pipe and is mounted on a spindle (8) for linear movement. Radial beak-through passages (10) extend vertically of the branch stub and are provided in a shell (11) fixed to the saddle. The stub has a bush (15) at its end to sealingly engage the shell. |
