PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily join an oxide-based ceramic and metal or oxide-based ceramics to each other by brazing at a low cost. SOLUTION: An oxide-based ceramic and metal containing Al are joined to each other by using an ordinary brazing material such as silver solder or nickel solder. A reaction phase containing Al is formed at the interface between the ceramic and the metal, and a joined body wherein the oxide-based ceramic and the metal containing Al are joined to each other through the reaction phase is obtained.
