<p>The invention relates to a method of producing frits, the corresponding installation and the frits thus obtained. The inventive method consists in: (a) forming a slip in a mixing tank with all of the constituent raw materials of the frit, (b) storing said slip in a feed container, (c) introducing said slip into an atomiser in order to transform same into a dry atomised powder, and (d) introducing said dry atomised powder into a melter in order to produce a melted material which, when cooled rapidly, produces a solidified material corresponding to the desired frit. The installation shown in figure 1 comprises: (1) silos, (2) a mixing tank, (3) a feed container, (4) an atomiser, (5) a melter, (6) an extractor, (7) a frit, (8) water, (9) a cyclone, (10) a hopper, and (11) a weighing machine. The invention is suitable for use in the ceramic industry.</p> |
