A biodegradable printing ink with good rheological properties and increased solvent tolerance comprises (wt.%): (A) casein (5-30), starch (5-30), hydroxycellulose (5-35) or polyvinylalcohol (5-35); (B) pigment (5-80); and (C) solvent (15-87). An Independent claim for a font consisting only of a skeleton, such that the conventionally computer-generated script or symbols are converted into the corresponding vectors which are then converted via a known program into skeleton lines adapted to the required process.
