PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated cardboard cushioning member for packaging capable of simply taking in and out a housing article and capable of fixing the housing article to the cushioning member at a normal position to develop cushioning capacity to certainly protect the same. SOLUTION: The cushioning member 1 is formed by applying slitting and bending processings to a single member corrugated cardboard, and the housing article is packed into an outer box 2 through the cushioning member 1. The cushioning member 1 can support at least one points of the respective surface of the housing article opposed to the inner wall surfaces oft eh outer box 2 by the end surfaces of the corrugated cardboard, and can also support at least one points of the respective inner wall surfaces of the housing article to the inner wall surfaces of the outer box 2 by the end surfaces of the corrugated cardboard. The cushioning member 1 can absorb the force receiving from an arbitrary direction by the buckling of the end surfaces of the corrugated cardboard to safely protect the packed housing article.
