PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using a plate, an imaging machine and a printing press suitable for performing this method and a method for manufacturing a flexographic plate capable of being imaged by the imaging machine and utilized by the printing press. SOLUTION: An image is formed on a plate by the imaging machine 1 in a first step. The plate 3 is fixed on the magnetic cylinder 2 of the imaging machine 1 during imaging. The image is printed by the printing press using the imaged plate 3 in a second step.
