PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light deflector to which a rotary polygon mirror is attached with high positional accuracy and whose rotational load is made small and an optical scanner provided with the light deflector. SOLUTION: Two attaching parts 26B and 26T corresponding to two rotary polygon mirrors 16 and 18 are constituted in the rotary body 14 of the optical scanner 12. The attaching parts 26B and 26T are respectively provided with shaft direction positioning surfaces 22T and 22B and radial direction positioning surfaces 24T and 24B, so that the rotary polygon mirrors 16 and 18 are attached with the high positional accuracy.
