PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein easy and precise installation of a filter and an electric air cleaner is enabled. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with: a base 1 fixed to the wall face inside a room; a front face panel 2 mounted to the front face of the base 1, and a main body cabinet including an upper panel 3. A cross flow fan 4, a heat exchanger 6, a dew receiver 7 arranged in the base 1. An air blow-out hole 8 is arranged on the rear end side of the front face panel 2, while an air intake grill 9 is arranged to the upper face panel 3 rotationally and removably. A filter 10 is mounted to the back face of the air intake grill 9 so that it can be inserted removably and attached to a back face of an intake beam 9 constituting the air intake grill 9, and a part of the filter 10 is constructed of a dust collection part 10a having a conductivity. The electric air cleaner 11 is provided with a conductive part 12 constructed of a conductor 14 intermittently passing electric current when it is brought into contact with or separated from the dust collection part 10a.
