PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a load detection means attachable without raising the sheet height. SOLUTION: The load detection means 16 provided with a strain causing member (an erastic body) 12 in which a fixed part 12b and a movable part 12c are prescribed by sandwiching an easy-to-strain part 12a and which is composed of a strainable material; and a strain gage 14 fixed to any face from among the upper face and the rear face of the easy-to-strain part at the strain causing member is arranged and installed in the front part and the rear part of an upper-rail side face 22a in a sheet slide device, while the fixed part at the strain causing member is fixed to the upper-rail side face 22a by aligning its side face. A pair of drooping pieces 36 of two separated and opposite pieces extended and arranged in the lower part of a sheet cushion are arranged integrally so as to cross an upper rail 22 and the movable part 12c at the strain causing member, an engaging pin 42 is installed so as to be fixed between the pair of drooping pieces via an upper-and-lower long hole 38 in the upper rail and a front-and-rear long hole 40 in the movable part at the strain causing member, and the movable part at the strain causing member supports the drooping pieces so as to be capable of receiving an input load from a sheet.
