PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs while an operativity and a visibility are secured well. SOLUTION: A recorder which records images a recording head loaded on a runnable carriage to sheets and has an operation panel 45 set at the front side, incorporates an operation switch 49 set at a control board 48 arranged at the rear side of a printer 10, and an operating member 50 having a projecting part 51 as a fulcrum, an acting part 52 and an operation button 46 set respectively at one end, at the other end and at an intermediate position. The operating member is arranged within the operation panel, and moreover the acting part is positioned correspondingly to the operation switch. When the acting member is pressed to operate, the operating member rotates about the projecting part, so that the acting part of the operating member drives the corresponding operation switch.
