PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward monitoring device for a forklift truck that enables forward monitoring even during an unloading operation, precludes a risk of damage to a camera unit from pressure against a road surface, is simple and inexpensive in structure, and is easy to maintain. SOLUTION: Above a monitoring position below a pallet supported on forks 11, the camera unit 12 is vertically movably supported on a finger bar 10 supporting the forks 11 via a supporting means 13, and the camera unit 12 is urged to the monitoring position by an urging means 21.
