PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding rolled photosensitive material package which prevents occurrence of defects such as pressure fog and printing blur and is excellent in disposability after use. SOLUTION: The light shielding rolled photosensitive material package is obtained by preparing a rolled photosensitive material 10 comprising a core 1 having a foamed resin-containing paper member 1b on the surface of a cylindrical core member 1a and a rolled photosensitive film 2 wound on the periphery of the core 1 in a roll shape and disposing at least lateral light shielding plates (not shown) each having an insert fixed in the hollow of the core 1 and disposed at both ends of the core 1 and a light shielding leader (not shown) joined to the dead end of the rolled photosensitive film 2 and clothing the film 2, wherein the paper member 1b has 3-20 mass% foamed resin content, 0.05-0.3 g/cm<SP>3</SP>density and 0.5-2 mm thickness.
