PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus by which correction by a proper skew correction amount is easily and inexpensively performed. SOLUTION: A skew correction setting screw 64 is screwed in a shaft supporting plate 62, and an eccentric cam 60 abuts on a top end part. The eccentric cam 60 is rotatably pivotally supported, and the end part of a cylindrical mirror 46Y abuts on it. A rotary disk 66 is fixed at the skew correction setting screw 64, and is integrally rotated with the skew correction setting screw 64. On the other hand, a stopper 72 is projected from the shaft supporting plate 62, and the rotary disk 66 is arranged between the stopper 72 and the shaft supporting plate 62. Thus, the moving amount of the cylindrical mirror 46Y in an up-and-down direction is restricted by regulating the sliding quantity of the skew correction setting screw 64, so that the correction by an appropriate skew correction amount is performed.
