PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form respective group optical systems smaller in sizes while maintaining their coaxial accuracy. SOLUTION: When a rotary cam 9 is rotationally driven by a drive motor, the rotary cam 9 is axially moved by the action of a rotary cam pin 14 attached to the rotary cam 9 and a rotary cam groove 10b disposed on the inner peripheral surface of a stationary frame 10. A second group holding frame 4 is obstructed from rotating by a rectilinear key groove 10a and rectilinear key 4c of the stationary frame 10 and when the rotary cam 9 rotates, the frame 4 is moved along the optical axis direction by the action of the second group cam 9b of the rotary cam 9 and a second group cam follower 4a of the frame 4. A first group holding frame 3 is obstructed from rotating by a first group cam pin 8 and a rectilinear restriction slit 4b and when the rotary cam 9 rotates, the frame 3 is moved along the optical axis direction by the action of a first group cam 9a and first group cam pin 8 on the inner peripheral surface of the rotary cam 9.
