PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof substrate material always smoothly performing drainage or the like while executing without giving any unpleasantness to nonslip by carrying out the mounting work of tile battens in a state to stabilize a posture in the case of nailing work or a posture after it has been nailed. SOLUTION: Projected stripe bodies 5 are integrally formed on one side 2a of a sheet 2 at an interval L, and a group of projected bodies 6 lower than the projected stripe bodies 5 are integrally formed between the projected bodies 5. The battens 21 are constructed on roof boards 20 in a state to arrange the battens 21 between the projected stripe bodies 5. After the battens 21 have been arranged, a nail 22 or the like is driven into the roof boards 20 through a roof substrate material 1 from the battens 21 to enable the battens 21 to fix to the roof boards 20. The battens 21 are arranged between the flat surfaces of the projected stripe bodies 5 to easily and surely arrange the battens 21 in a state to stabilize the posture. Tile work is carried out without giving any unpleasantness by feeling no pain on the sole of one's foot while giving the effect of nonslip by a group of projected bodies 6 with low height.
