PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gutter block capable of discharging, with a simple structure, rain water accumulated on a road surface at a boundary portion between the side gutter block and the road surface to the inside of the side gutter. SOLUTION: This side gutter 1 comprises, for example, a U-side gutter block 1a. The side wall 3 of the U-side gutter block 1a comprises a step part 5 for placing a cover body F thereon at an upper end portion and an upwardly rising rise part 6 provided on the outer side of the step part 5. Continuous grooves 7 allowing rain water on the outside of the rise part 6 to flow into the side gutter 2 are provided in the upper surface 6a and the inside surface 6b of the rise part 6 and the step part 5.
