PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactate fiber and fiber product suitable as an industrial material such as a coating material for a concrete form, and provide a method for forming the polylactate fiber. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a polylactate fiber having a bellows structure in the fiber direction and≥5 ribs per 10μm fiber length, a polylactate fiber having a residual tensile strength of≤20% of the initial tensile strength after leaving in an alkaline environment at a pH of≥12 for 48 hours, fiber products made of these fibers, and the method for producing these polylactate fibers by producing a fiber by melt-spinning and drawing the fiber at 50-100°C.
