<p>The invention relates to a sweet, syrupy food base, the preparation method thereof and the use of same as a food ingredient in the production of confectionery, pastrycooks'products, milk desserts, drinks or sweet and sour dishes. The aforementioned sweet food base contains the following components, by dry weight in relation to the total dry weight of said food base: between 45 and 83 % sucrose, between 3 and 22 % reducing sugars, between 8 and 25 % caramel, between 0.1 and 1.4 % liquorice or liquorice flavour and between 0.5 and 1.5 % salt.</p> |
