The system includes several cylinders, which are driven from one chamber. All cylinders drive e.g. a chain. At least two cylinder blocks have to be interconnected for overcoming the dead center. The interconnection is accomplished by the cooperative actuation of the same chain, but can also be controlled electronically. A disk with decentralized movable connecting rod fixings is connected to a gearwheel at the opposite side of the cylinder, so that the chain can be actuated by the connecting rod.
