PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow molded container with a lifting tool, which restrains the floating of the lifting tool and enables the formation of the lifting tool by blow molding, and a manufacturing method of the blow molded container. SOLUTION: According to the container with the lifting tool, the lifting tool 4 is formed on a bottom 3 of a container body 2. The lifting tool 4 comprises a base 11 fixed to the bottom 3 and erected in the axial direction of the container body 2, a hook 12 that can be swung against the bottom 3 to a standing position 21 and to a faced down position 22, and a bending part 13 connecting the hook 12 to the base 11 so as to make the hook 12 swingable. A locking part is provided near the bending part 13 of the hook 12 and a to-be- locked part 18 is provided on the bottom 3 in order to keep the hook 12 in the faced down position 22 by engaging the locking part with the to-be-locked part 18.
