<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank supporting structure permitting the minimum transmission of the vibration or noises of a fuel tank to a vehicle room and achieving higher quietness in the vehicle room. <P>SOLUTION: A cushion rubber 30 is fixed to the upper face of a tank band with a double-coated tape. A plurality of circular protrusions 30B are protruded on the upper face of the cushion rubber 30 in equally spaced relation. A fuel tank is fixed to the tank band via the cushion rubber 30. Thus, the fuel tank has a substantially lower spring constant than that fixed thereto via a flat band damping material, and it provides vibration damping effects on loads input from any of longitudinal, crosswise and vertical directions.
