SHIELD MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine enabling the exchange of cutter bits many times in the machine and allowing a worker to directly confirm the wear of the cutter bit when exchanging them. SOLUTION: This mud water type shield machine attaching the bit to a cutter spoke 22 so as to enable its exchange is provided with a spoke bending jack 26 constituted such that a manhole 5a capable of opening and closing is provided on a bulkhead 5 and the cutter spoke 22 is installed so as to tilt it onto a bulkhead 5 side from a rise condition so that its outer peripheral part side reaches an opening part of the bulkhead 5 when tilting the cutter spoke 22 and driving the cutter spoke so as to tilt and rise and an outer peripheral ring fixing jack 27 having a share piece 27a fitting into a fitting hole in a fixing part 23a when the cutter spoke 22 rises and leaving the fitting hole when it is tilted.
