<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably manufacturing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet which imparts a low iron loss to the product, by doping elements effective for reducing the iron loss into a steel sheet, in a subsequent steps, particularly in the final annealing step, so as not to affect the orientation control in the secondary recrystallization. <P>SOLUTION: In a process for manufacturing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet, the method for manufacturing the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet with adequate magnetic properties and a mirror plane is characterized by carrying out decarburization annealing in an atmosphere having such a degree of oxidation as not forming Fe-based oxides, to form an oxide layer mainly consisting of silica on the surface of the steel sheet, and then applying a separation agent for annealing mainly consisting of alumina, and by adding one or several metal powders of Cr, Cu, Mn, and Ni to the separation agent for annealing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
