<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print quality judging system capable of displaying print conditions which should be altered in order to eliminate the difference of print quality among difference print samples. <P>SOLUTION: The print quality judging system comprises an image taking section for fetching binary reference print data and comparison print data from a reference print sample and a comparison print sample, an image analyzing section for analyzing the reference print data and the fetched comparison print data and measuring the value of factors having an effect on the color, a comparing section for determining the difference in the measurements of each factor between the reference print sample and the comparison print sample thus measured, a data base recording correlation between the factors having an effect on the color and print conditions, a section for extracting the print conditions which should be altered in order to correct the difference of color from the difference of measurements and the data base, and a section for displaying the extracted print conditions to be altered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
