摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens system which makes the precise alignment of two lens elements possible by a simple structure and assembly process steps. SOLUTION: The imaging less system has a first lens element 11 which exists on an object surface side and is rotationally symmetrical and a second lens element 12 which exists on an image surface 17 side and is rotationally symmetrical. The lens element 11 has a first surface S<SB>11</SB>, convex second substrate S<SB>12</SB>, and an outer peripheral surface 11a. The lens element 12 has a concave third surface S<SB>13</SB>, a convex fourth surface S<SB>14</SB>, and an edge surface 12a facing the object surface side. The edge surface 12a is provided thereon with an edge 13 formed with an aperture having an inner diameter aligned to the boundary between the edge surface 12a and the third surface S<SB>13</SB>. The lens element 11 and the lens element 12 are so arranged that the outer peripheral surface 11a of the lens element 11 comes into contact with an inside surface 13a in the aperture of the edge 13 and that the second surface S<SB>12</SB>and the third surface S<SB>13</SB>face each other.
