PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam-column joint constructing method which efficiently carries out connection of both main bars of a column and a beam and arrangement of shear reinforcing bars at a beam-column joint. SOLUTION: The method is provided for constructing the beam-column joint by using precast concrete beam members 10A, 10B, 10C, and column reinforcement assemblies 20A, 20B, and comprised of the following steps. In the first step, a predetermined number of tie hoops 22 are arranged on an upper bed of the lower-story column reinforcement assembly in a vertically movable manner. In the second step, the beam members are borne by timbering 33 while being opposed to each other at an upper location of the column reinforcement assemblies, then upper-end main bars 11 of the beam members are connected together, and lower-end main bars 12 of the beam members are connected together. After execution of the above two steps, in the third step, a lower end 24 of the main bar of the upper-story column reinforcement assembly is dropped on the lower-story column reinforcement assembly. In the last step, the predetermined number of vertically movable tie hoops are moved upward to form a working space below the lower-end main bars of the beam members, and the upper and lower column main bars 24, 21 are connected together in the working space.
