The invention relates to an antenna for automobiles comprising a coaxial coupler, which has an outer conductor (15), an inner conductor (6) and a plastic supporting body (11) that fixes the inner conductor (6) inside the outer conductor (15). The antenna also comprises a radiating element (5), which is connected to the inner conductor (6) of the coupler in an electrically conductive manner. A circuit (2) provided for antenna-matching is located on a circuit supporting plate (1), which is arranged between the radiating element (5) and the inner conductor (6) of the coupler and which extends toward the radiating element (5). Said circuit is also connected to the inner conductor (6) of the coupler as well as to the radiating element (5) in an electrically conductive manner. According to the invention, the antenna comprises a plastic sleeve (18), which encapsulates the radiating element (5) and in which the outer conductor (15) of the coupler is anchored. In addition, the circuit supporting plate (1) is embedded in the supporting body (11) and, on the edge thereof, has a contact surface (8a, 9a), which is not covered by the plastic of the supporting body (11), and which is configured for making contact with the outer conductor (15) of the coupler.
