An anhydrous care or makeup composition comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, at least one non-volatile hydrocarbon oil, at least one inert particulate phase, and at least one hydrocarbon dispersant which has solubility parameters deltad and deltaa meeting the following conditions: 16.2<=deltad<=20 (J/cm<3>)<1/2 >and 9.1<=deltaa<=20 (J/cm<3>)<1/2>, wherein the composition can possess good properties of staying power, particularly as regards colour, and of gloss, comfort and non-migration; and the use thereof.
