One end of the handle (10) has a hook (11); the other end is fixed to a cleaning-cord (20) made of elastic glass fibers. The free end of the cleaning-cord has a connecting piece (22) on which is a steel tie-piece (23) with fastening (24). The brush (26,261) of varying size, which can be joined to the cord, has an axial connecting-pin (27) by means of which the brushes are screwed tightly to the fastening. An L-shaped turning-lever (30) fits into the hook by means of an adapter (32) on the handle. The adapter has a hole through it (33) for a wire or cable.
