发明名称 METHOD FOR MAKING HIGH GLOSSY METALLIC GLAZE AND USE THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for making a high glossy metallic glaze is provided to obtain a glaze, which is capable of forming a smooth surface and protecting the attack by an external liquid or gas, and has excellent chemical stability, various colors, cleaning acceptability and wearing resistance. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: introducing a mixture containing 57-70 wt% of SiO2, 6-12 wt% of Al2O3, 10-13 wt% of CaO, 1-3 wt% of MgO, 1-4 wt% of K2O, 2-8 wt% of Na2O, 5-7 wt% of B2O3 and 5-15 wt% of PbO into a refractory melting pot; mounting the refractory pot to a melting furnace; covering the lid of the furnace and gradually heating at 1200-1350 deg.C for about 3-4 hours; maintaining the peak temperature for about 1-2 hours to help the complete melting of the materials; quenching the completely molten materials with cold water; drying the quenched glassy powder to form frit; introducing 35-55 wt% of the frit, 40-60 wt% of Pb3O4, 15 wt% of silica and 3-10 wt% of ZnO into a ball mill; adding water thereto; milling the materials to a retention ratio with a standard sieve of 325 mesh of about 1% or less to form a glaze; and mixing 100 wt% of the glaze with 1-15 wt% of a pigment.
