PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and reliably separate a liquid and a gas from a fluid in which the liquid and gas are mixed. SOLUTION: A gas-liquid mixed fluid 8 flowing into a main body cylindrical vessel in the tangential direction from a flow-in port 1 is turned along the inside surface of the main body vessel. In this process, the liquid surface forms a recessed conical shape 13 by centrifugal force, and when a projecting part 6 is attached cylindrically, the liquid surface cannot approach a gas discharge port and consequently the liquid is not discharged from the gas discharge port. The gas is gathered to the center part as shown by a notation 14 (in the figure) by the difference of the specific gravity in a funnel-like shape. By providing a partition wall 3, however, the turning flow is disturbed by the partition wall 3 to be weakened or to vanish. Then the gas is moved upward by buoyancy and the liquid 11 reaches a liquid discharge port 4 through a rout 11 to prevent the gas from passing through the port 4.
