PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which reduces the processing of a sub- control portion and device control portions connected thereto. SOLUTION: A control board of the game machine is composed of a main board 1, a sub-board 2, and a device control board (including a symbol control board 3, a lamp control board 4, and a voice control board 5). The sub control portion 20 is one-chip CPU with built-in ROM 29 and RAM 28 for receiving commands from a main control portion 10 to control the transmission of commands required for the device control board connected to the sub-board 2. A command conversion table is housed in the ROM 29. The sub-control portion 20 converts commands unprocessed at the respective device control portions into commands processable at the respective device control portions from among the commands received from the main control portion 1 with the command conversion table to transmit the converted results to the respective device control portions.
