PURPOSE: Provided are a release coating agent for forming a coating layer on the surface of the cavity of a mold for producing a cathode-ray tube, which uses ceramic material, and a coating method using the release coating agent. CONSTITUTION: The release coating agent is produced by mixing a first mixture solution comprising tetramethoxy silane and a temperature auxiliary selected from the group consisting of TiO2, graphite, talc, lime, or a mixture thereof, a second mixture solution comprising tetramethoxy silane and a heat-conductive agent selected from the group consisting of silver, gold, copper, aluminium, or a mixture thereof, and a third mixture solution, as a catalyst, comprising methyl alcohol, water, and acetic acid by a sol-gel process. The coating is performed by spraying the coating agent on the surface of the cavity(10) and drying and solidifying the coating layer(18). |
