PURPOSE: An apparatus for charging a mobile terminal is provided to regenerate an RF signal as an energy of a mobile terminal by detecting a magnetic field from the RF signal and converting the magnetic field to current. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic field detection portion(14) is used for detecting a magnetic field of an RF signal transmitted from a power amplifier(10) to an antenna(12). A current converter(16) converts the detected magnetic field to current and applies the current to the first charging circuit(18). The first charging circuit(18) is used for charging the current to a small-sized auxiliary battery(20). The small-sized auxiliary battery(20) is fixed to a mobile terminal. A charging capacity of the small-sized auxiliary battery(20) is smaller than the charging capacity of a main battery(24). The second charging circuit(22) is used for charging the current to the main battery(24). A power source of the main battery(24) or the small-sized auxiliary battery(20) is applied selectively to a DC/DC converter(28) by a switch(26).
