PURPOSE: A composition comprising N-stearoyl-phytosphingosine as a main component is provided, which has a synergistic effect on improving dermatoxerasia of atopic dermatitis and restoring force of damaged skin. CONSTITUTION: This skin-care composition comprises lotus root powder, buckwheat powder, onion powder and N-stearoyl-phytosphingosine in a ratio of 2:2:2:4. The cosmetic containing the composition has an excellent moisturizing effect and dry preventing effect and may be provided in the form of skin lotion, lotion, massage cream, nourishing cream, pack or gel.
