<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a beefsteak plant juice, by using leaves of beefsteak plants as a raw material, and to provide a product thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the beefsteak plant juice comprises a process 1 in which water is super-heated and boiled to obtain hot water, and then green leaves of green beefsteak plants, green leaves or red leaves of red beefsteak plants are put into the hot water having a temperature of 90-100°C in such a ratio that 20 leaves are used for 1L of the hot water, a process 2 in which the hot water containing the leaves is stirred for 5 min, and then the leaves are taken out, so that a solution is obtained, a process 3 in which minerals, saccharides, and an organic acid are added to the solution, for example, 40 g of honey, 100 cc of a glucose liquid, and 4 g of citric acid are added to the 1L of the solution, and then stirred, so that the solution is seasoned, and a process 4 in which the beefsteak plant juice which is produced as the seasoned solution in the process 3 is bottled into a glass container, so that the beefsteak plant juice is produced as the product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
