<p>Device for protecting or preventing injuries of the occupants of motor vehicles consists of a cab having front and rear vertical bars (2, 2.1, 3.1, 3.2), and a transverse support (4) adjustably connected to at least one bar and lockable in at least one position. The transverse support has a hoop (7, 8) on its upper side (5) and on its lower side (6). The upper hoop (7) encloses an area designed so that it covers the occupant in the head, upper body and arm region. The lower hoop encloses an area designed so that it covers the occupant in the bottom, upper thigh, lower thigh and/or foot region. Preferred Features: The hoops are made of bars joined together. At least two bars (10.1, 11.2, 12, 13) are fixed to the transverse support.</p> |
