IDENTIFICATION MARKER OF RUSH VARIETY 'HINOMIDORI'

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for identifying a variety of rush, comprising specifying a DNA fragment which is variety-specifically present or absent in a genome DNA.

SOLUTION: This method for identifying rush variety 'Hinomidori' comprises a process for obtaining amplified DNA products by a polymerase chain reaction using various rush genomes as templates and further using a primer comprising a base sequence: 5'-CCCGAAGCGA-3' and a process for subjecting the amplified DNA products to an electrophoresis, wherein the 'Hinomidori' specifically eliminates a band in the electrophoresis.
