PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and the space of a tandem type color image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus has a single laser device, a single polygon mirror, and a plurality of lenses which are arranged on a scanning line to perform fθcorrection and correction of an angle. Data of a plurality of colors is projected to one face of the polygon mirror and is divided into four directions by the lenses to be scanned over a photosensor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
