PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a gas barrier laminate good in the adhesion with a gas barrier inorganic thin film layer, and the gas barrier laminate especially satisfying oxygen barrier properties and steam barrier properties while reconciling them in a use requiring high barrier properties. SOLUTION: The substrate for the gas barrier laminate comprises a cured material of a resin composition containing a compound (A) having two or more ethylenic unsaturated double bonds and an acrylic resin (B) with a glass transition point of 60-200°C. The gas barrier laminate is constituted by providing a thin film layer comprising a metal and/or a metal compound on the substrate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
