Date Mar. 6, 1997The present invention relates to a highly smooth fiber comprising a fiber produced from a thermoplastic resin on which a mixed composition is deposited in an amount of 0.1 to 2.0 percent by weight of said fiber, said mixed composition comprising 50 to 85 percent by weight of a composition (A) consisting of an alkyl phosphate salt having an average number of carbon atoms of 6 to 14 and/or an alkyl phosphate salt having an average number of carbon atoms of 10 to 22 to which a polyoxyalkylene group is added; and 15 to 50 percent by weight of a composition (B) consisting of a polyoxyalkylene modified silicone containing amide group. The present present invention also relates to a fabric or formed articles produced from such a highly smooth fiber.
