<p>The basic plastic material for the compound body is poured inside a hollow body open at one side, the walls of which are heated to 180 to 300 degrees C. The basic material is polyethylene wetted with peroxide and poured into the hollow body under pressure, at a temperature of 130-170 degrees C. The polyethylene filler is pref. mixed with fibres e.g. glass-wool or a metallic powder. esp. iron.</p> |
