PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope apparatus provided with an ultrasonic endoscope of excellent operability by which hand operation can be correctly and easily conducted by grasping a main operation part. SOLUTION: An electric cable 33d and a light guide fiber 55 inserted into an insertion part 22 pass through the inside the main operation part 23a to be inserted into a universal cord 24 to be disposed. A vibrator cable 12a extended from an ultrasonic vibrator 12 is inserted into a flexible shaft 14 to be electrically connected to a circuit board 64 disposed close to a drive unit 63. A signal transmitted by the vibrator cable 12a is transmitted by an ultrasonic cable 65 inserted into the universal cord 24. A fluid tube 58 connected to cylinders 56 and 57 is also inserted into the universal cord 24. Into the universal cord 24, therefore, the electric cable 33d, the light guide fiber 55, the fluid tube 58, and the ultrasonic cable 65 are inserted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
