PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging method and apparatus, capable of obtaining a sensitivity distribution of a plurality of RF coils and tomographic image by a plurality of RF coils having high S/N ratio by one time imaging. SOLUTION: Raw data of the RF coils is added after the phase correction corresponding to the RF coil positions to re-configure an image, thereby obtaining uniform image information having uniform sensitivity, and the sensitivity distribution of image data in performing image synthesis processing is corrected using the uniform image information, whereby synthetic image information with high S/N ratio and good uniformity of sensitivity can be obtained by one time imaging.
