PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate disadvantage in an electrostatic power generator of prior art, that only a part of the charges generated is used and a large amount of mechanical energy is required to transfer the charges. SOLUTION: A conductor ball 2 is provided between a field electrode 5 and a charge-generating (opposed) electrode 4 and discharge is selectively generated, to completely charge the conductor ball 2, and moreover the charged conductor ball 2 is caused to reach a charge collecting electrode 5, by utilizing the difference of mirror image forces operating on the discharge generating source and charge-collecting point in view of eliminating mechanical energy for transferring.
