PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operational design of an electronic device, in which two or more operating modes can be set, and the operability and visibility concerning the operating mode setting can be improved. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with a couple of control means 3 and 4, that can choose one of operating modes through turning operations. Each control means is arranged turnably around an identical turning center at a different stage. In the first control means 3, given options from a first operating mode group, 6a to 6d, one of them is chosen, and then in the second control means 4, belonging to the first control means 3, given options from a second operating mode group, 7a to 7h, further choice is given. The second control means 4 is arranged on top of the control means 3, as well as being given rotation angle for the operation setting larger than one required for the operation of the control means 3.
