PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording device which can group a track with efficiency and decrease the operating loads of users. SOLUTION: A grouping instruction is given to an information investing generation means after the beginning of the recording of the track when a detection means finds some changes in regard to the record of the track. And from the track begun to be recorded in the information recording medium to the track recorded at the time of receiving the grouping instruction by the information investing generation means are divided into the same group, for example, given the same group name to be generated group management information. Therefore, with grouping is done automatically by some changes about the recording of the track, users can save their time and effort of grouping by themselves and decrease the operating loads of users.
